Moonshot used to have an extensive skincare line but most of
it has since been pulled from their website. Of what’s available, most are
cleansing products and masks. I tried their Daily Pure Relax mask, but of course I lost the full review on it and I can't remember much other than it was overpriced for its results and had a large fit. At least the GD Fantastic Shining Mask was less of a letdown.

Step 1 – Cleansing
Foam
As a celebrity product I had major doubts about the quality of this mask, as much as I adore G-Dragon. So imagine
my surprise when this sucker caused no irritation
whatsoever, not even around my eyelids. For the most part, it doesn’t
strip my skin except for that one time I was so tired I lathered it on my face
rather than pre-foaming it in my hands. I forgot how visually satisfying using
only a second cleanser was as I watched all the foundation drain away.
Step 2 – Mask
Most masks run a little large around my chin and this was no
exception. Fortunately the material is light and thin enough to adjust while adhering comfortably to my skin. After 20 minutes, my skin looked almost
translucent; it was much brighter and felt moderately moisturised. The
essence took some time to settle into the skin but the mask was still soaked in
essence and had enough to hydrate my arms and legs too.
Step 3 – Eye Cream
The eye cream is thicker than a lotion but not emollient to
the point that it feels greasy. Despite its name there’s enough for the face
and the neck too. However the next morning it was evident that the cream wasn't sufficient to keep my dry skin soft and moisturised. Given that it’s only autumn
atm (and it’s been a hot one this year), I reckon this mask would need an
additional backup cream to seal in all the goodness if I want to use it in winter.

The tipping point was when I realised this was fragranced with the GD perfume that I am in love with and use on a daily basis, so I would be able to breathe in that scent 24/7. (I accidentally conditioned myself to relax when I smell it and now I'm stuck with it forever??)

True to their claim the hand cream sinks into the skin quickly, Layering it makes a clear difference for my hands because they become softer and reduce the appearance and redness of my red eczema patches. However it can be a little greasy and it leaves a silicone-y film on my finger tips. The moisturising effects are temporary and I've gone through this tube very quickly (it doesn't help that I love the smell of it so much too).
Probably don't get this if you're after a really good hand cream. Even as a collector's item it sucks because of the boring packaging, but if you're curious as to what the GD perfume smells like and don't want to pay full price, this is a cheaper way of finding out.
